Face Recognition

Sixth graders continue learning more about machine learning. Today they did the Face Finder lesson in the Machine Learning for Kids website. In this lesson students made a video filter in Scratch to turn their face into a cartoon. They used data from a computer that has already been trained to recognize faces. At the end of the lesson students were asked to explain how face detection works and how it is different from facial recognition.
