After training the computer to recognize the colors red, blue and green last week, the sixth graders were ready to create a program where a chameleon will change color to match its background. In this Machine Learning for Kids lesson the sixth graders learned that they can use machine learning to recognize the color of the background, and use that to switch the matching chameleon color. There were some mistakes but students realized that it's because they need to continue to give the computer more examples. The more examples you give the computer, the better it should get at recognizing colors correctly.
Eighth graders built a chair, a desk and a couch in Tinkercad today.
